My husband surpised me with my Christmas and Birthday present a couple of days ago............Fleetwood Mac in Vegas on Dec. 30/13, which conveniently happens to be my 50th birthday!!!!!!!! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I tried to win tickets with hotel stay through a local San Diego radio station this morning, but I struck out.

I considered going to this show, as I'm off that week on vacation, but the prices are too crazy. Also, it's hard to score a good seat (meaning in the first 5 rows) in Vegas - too many comped seats.

At this point, I'll only be there if some kind of Christmas miracle happens and Santa puts 2 tickets in my stocking.

Do you guys mind if I ask what the heck happened in regards to this show? I really was hoping to find a way to go- but then when John's cancer was announced it sure appeared as if the concert was canceled. I was bummed but went and spent the money I was saving and gave up. Then recently saw mention of the concert and was like "WHAT? Its still on?!"

So I'm not as in the know as some of you but what happened there? I'm so bummed. Not sure I would've been able to pull it off because I've got some very major health issues and wouldve had to fly for the first time alone and loaded down with lots of medical equipment although I was definitely trying to find someone to join me. Probably wasn't in my budget anyhow but oh how I wanted to go. The show this last summer in Detroit was actually my first Mac concert after a lifetime (admittedly I'm just a youngin here in my 20s) of being a fan. Hope I have another chance to see them in the future (my own health is perhaps the biggest obstacle of all) because the Detroit show was basically the best day of my life. And I had been going on and on about how I just needed to get to Vegas some way, some how.

Anyway, not in the cards for me but I truly hope that those of you who are attending have a wonderful time! Share pictures please! Very curious to see how John is doing also.

I'm not there but did see a few pictures and video clips posted on twitter. John looks to be in good spirits from the short clips I've seen. The band sounds good. Hope to see some quality videos and reviews later. Everyone enjoy who is at the Vegas shows.
