Shadow of Love or something like that..

I just got the Complete Recording Sessions of Fleetwood Mac and it mentioned in the reheasals for The Dance a song called Shadow of Love that was not issued. Anybody know anything about this song??

Hi Vianna,

Back in 1997, when The Mac was rehearsing for the Dance, someone posted on one of the alt.news groups that he had attended one of those rehearsals.

He claimed to have taken one of the setlists taped to the stage, and he posted it online, with his own augmentations (if the band played a certain song twice, or just halfway thru), etc.

There were three new songs on the setlist... "Shadows Of Love," "Where Were You," and "Forbidden."
(Of note: "Twisted" was also included in the setlist.)

So far, to the best of my knowledge, none of these songs have circulated among the fans, nor are they listed on the US copyright site. Though I imagine that "Where Were You" could be an early title for "Temporary One."

Maybe it could have been a temporary title for Bleed To Love Her.....??????????
