And yet they don't seem to sell like they used to.

I hope $he and Mick are happy with how they ruined the band. #idiots

Even if it were to sell tickets... it's just sad that they go out this way...

I can't imagine another tour after this..

Their brand is ruined.

Are they really THAT STUPID? Not seeing how it would affect their brand?

Well, we know that Mick is that stupid, but I'd hope $tevie would be a little more business savvy that that. But her massive ego blinded her to the possible backlash.

My gut tells me that $he was jealous of the BuckVie album and needed to act out. And $he wields a lot of star power. So there you have it.

I agree 100%. $he was pissed that they put that great album out without her. Old hag got her way, and ruined the band. Way to go, $tevie.

It's such a great album. I would have loved to see her on it and then they tour on it.

Uhhhh...

That makes us three. After she said 'no' to a new album she thought that was the end of it. But hell no, Lindsey went further a did his album anyway and with everybody but Stevie in it. And then he had the audacity of promoting it with a tour. How dare him?! Hence the firing. The end.

Fascinating stuff... it's finally putting data to the anecdotal discussions of ticket sales & prices we've been talking about around here for months. I have to wonder how many of the current ticket transactions were snatched up by scalpers, too... and if there will be a mad rush to dump them at a loss as shows start approaching.

I also have to wonder how much the band itself is kept in the loop about these figures- I'd have to imagine much more so than the general public. With ticket prices down 20% and an additional member added to the band, this will absolutely hit them where it hurts most- their wallets. Makes you wonder how badly Mick is sweating right now!

You have to laugh, really..

Did they never think sacking Lindsey just might affect ticket sales?
Even if Stevie is so in diva mode these days to ponder the long term
aspects of her actions and Mick can only think as far as his nose-end.

Their management should have known this would happen...

I would think that the band's management would already know before they booked the tour that the ticket prices will be lower. It is not the classic FM line up. However, my bet is that this is still one of the tours with the biggest revenue in its time frame. I am ignoring all of the ridiculous Stevie bashing comments. Not even worth their grain of salt. I could care less about those folks opinions.

Lindsey is gone...and the band goes on. And I heard that BM album so I know she isn't jealous. And, I honestly believe she isn't petty like those throwing around those types of remarks.

Lindsey is gone why? Oh yeah he was FIRED by the Tambourine B/Witch. Going by her behavior the last few years she deserves EVERY negative comment we can throw at her. Every.One.
