Anything else that you can share with us? Even the smallest bit of info that can shed some light on this incredibly confusing situation. Is there plans for new
Music? Who’s decisision was it primarily? Its ok if you can’t.

Its not a good thing but a silver lining for me. I feel no pressure to get tickets or travel the country to see them. I wont attend any of the shows but its a little liberating that I don't have to fret for tickets and try to get in the first 10 rows.

Promo for this tour will be interesting. Wouldn't surprise me if band PR issues a warning to interviewers NOT to bring up Lindsey.

I was expecting tour dates with this news... I'm very surprised that the Lindsey departure was announced first. Maybe this is because it leaked?

I'd like to think that Lindsey's departure is giving the other members of the band second thoughts, and that is what is causing the delay. Once people start buying tickets, they're locked in.

it was Stevie and Mick vs Lindsey.

John goes with Mick.

Christine is just sad about the whole crappy situation she walked back in with these old fools.

and they wash their hands blaming promoters who voted for the money.

i'm sure that's why. i think they were gonna announce the tour and have that sentence about him not being on "this tour" in it. since it leaked they must have been inundated with questions. so they issued the statement before they were ready.

i hear you on hoping that's the holdup.

or once people do not start buying any tickets and they have to lower the prices and offer promotions, if the general backlash stays at the level where it is.

interviews for the upcoming tour and throughout the tour I bet as well are going to be a minefield of questions all about the firing and what led to it. I guarantee Stevie's publicist, Karen and who knows who all else will be hovering during any interviews she does for some time.

You know Mick will be asked, and Chris for sure as she just did an album and tour with him.

The one I see cracking and saying something off-script will be Mick.

I'm really interested in what Chris will say esp when she's asked if a second BuckVie is in the future

oh yeah definitely! can you imagine how questions at his m&gs will look like this time around? lol. and those m&gs were always great opportunity to get him to blab what's going on. that's where we first heard about Stevie not wanting to work with them on Mac album and he, Lindsey and John having tons of songs half finished. that's where we also first heard (at his book signing) how instead of joining them in the studio and relishing Chris' return Stevie had abruptly decided to fly off to Nashville and record the goldie oldie album with the wrecking crew, but that they were hoping she'll be back fast and join them for FM recordings.

he always cracks.
