1 Lindsey Song Per Album
Please select one song per album (including Fleetwood Mac albums), with backups in parentheses for the odd situations described below.
Lindsey must write, co-write, sing lead, or sing co-lead (as in Frozen Love, Don't Stop, Think About Me, Twisted, and Without You). Sisters Of The Moon doesn't count as singing co-lead because he sings only two lines and not on the studio album. When I See You Again can go either way; if it's your favorite, you can decide. Bonus tracks such as Live Minus Zero and Sleeping Around The Corner (Seeds We Sow version) qualify, but if it's a track from a Deluxe or Expanded multi-disc set, only consider those songs (whether live version, demo, outtake, or other alternate version) that are not on other albums. If Lindsey sings but doesn’t write, or vice-versa, indicate a backup song in parentheses. For example if your favorite song among those Lindsey sings or writes on Rumours is Don't Stop (or on Buckingham Nicks is Crystal) put your favorite that Lindsey writes is Second Hand News, put as follows: Buckingham Nicks - Crystal (Don't Let Me Down Again among original songs) Rumours - Don't Stop (Second Hand News among original songs) Same if your favorite is a cover song, such as these hypotheticals: Buckingham Nicks - Django (Don't Let Me Down Again among original songs) Under The Skin - I Am Waiting (Show Me How among original songs) If it's the reverse, where your favorite on an album is one where Lindsey writes but does not sing lead (as with Isn't It Midnight, Red Sun, Feel About You), you can out in parenthesis your favorite that Lindsey sings, such as: Buckingham McVie - Red Sun (Sleeping Around The Corner among those Lindsey sings) If your favorite track on the album differs from your favorite song if going by an alternate version of that song, list your favorite track and then the other in parentheses. I've done this in my list below with Mirage, Go Insane, and Say You Will, where I prefer a live version of one song to a studio version of another song. Finally, the last album so to speak is "Anthology etc." This means any song not on a proper studio album – including Hunger, Ride This Road, Time Bomb Town, Holiday Road, Dancing’ Across The USA, Farmers Daughter, Bring It On Home, Twisted, My Little Demon, and any I've overlooked. Bring It On Home is the duet (the only true duet where he sings one of their songs) that Lindsey did with Little Big Town on a joint live album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wm80vEi5RnY Thanks for participating. Here are my choices (bear in mind he co-writes and co-sings both "Frozen Love" and "The Chain"): BN - Frozen Love F. Mac - I'm So Afraid Rumours - The Chain Tusk - That's All For Everyone Law And Order - Trouble Mirage - Book Of Love (Eyes Of The World - live '82) Go Insane - Slow Dancing (Go Insane - live solo acoustic) Tango In The Night - Big Love Out Of The Cradle - Street Of Dreams Say You Will - Steal Your Heart Away (Say Goodbye - live Soundstage 2003) Under The Skin - Shut Us Down Gift Of Screws - Right Place To Fade Seeds We Sow - In Our Own Time Extended Play - Sad Angel Buckingham McVie - Lay Down For Free Solo Anthology etc.* - Hunger *can be any song, whether on the anthology or not, that is not from a proper studio album Last edited by cbBen; 12-28-2018 at 01:49 PM.. |
