Default Say You Will Credits

I was over at BestBuy.com checking out the prices on the Say You Will album and they have the following as the cover for the limited edition of the cd. Also, the album credits indicate that Lindsey, John & STEVIE play keyboards on the album! Wow, that's news!

John

Here's the limited edition cover pic...

Hey it is that wierd reddish one from yesterday!
It's nice to know we weren't all having some collective Mac hallucination! haha!!

Also, I am tickeld about the keyboards thing. That's really cool.
They are all getting a change to show the fans a little more of their diverse talents.

Yea, that's it...whew!! Sharon no hallucinations, we're just having flashbacks now.

Maybe someone could pump that baby up so we could get a better look at it. It was bigger yesterday wasn't it?!

I remember when I went to get the CD/DVD of "Divas Las Vegas" last year, I didn't even know it was going to have "two discs" so I picked it up, went to the counter, bought it and brought it home thinking there was only one disc inside and there were two, the CD and the DVD.

So, I wonder if it will be the same on this, a CD & a DVD (this may explain why some describe it as "one disc" since it does only have one CD and the DVD may not have a "tracklisting" as such because if it's like documentary style stuff, it could just be all scattershot footage of songs y'know? I mean I know we heard the "second disc" would include a couple of SN songs etc. but they may just be in the "middle" somewhere or something so this would explain why there is no track order on the DVD (and/or the 2 SN songs may just be on there but separate, you know, like DVD Audio style, like in the "special features/bonus materials" section of the DVD menu (if it is a DVD that is))? Just a thought.

Post Say You Will Credits!

Very interesting!!! Hmmmm!!! Mick was saying
as how Lindsey and Ray Lindsey did "IT " all alone
in the studio! Stevie said when something broke
down they fixed it! This is a diff. story then that
interview was for sure!!! Makes sense to need
extra crew and all for a new album by The Mac!

IMHO~The Red Cover is more classic /sophisticated!
They should have Lindsey & Stevie pix's in the OO's!

Thanks for the imitation FMac cd songs!!! You can get-
up the 30 sec. clips off Windows Media Player! Sky

If not I'm sure you guys can hook a brotha up with the additional songs.

Hmmm works fine for me DOR, sorry it's not working for you.

Imo it sounds pretty good, that is if you like covers. It's a very subjective taste for many people. So I guess I'm going out on a limb and recommending it. And how can you go wrong for $10.

I was thinking that as well.

But then I thought it could be that these other people worked on some of these songs prior to the work done in the house they rented. For example, Thrown Down, Not Make Believe, Smile at You, and apparently all of the LB songs have been around prior to then. Have any production credits been listed for the "solo" GOS songs? Also, John Shanks worked on TISL where Thrown Down and Not Make Believe were possibly originally supposed to go assuming they were written after Street Angel and/or The Dance, production began after then, etc.

Also, Stevie on keyboard - watch out!!!! Actually, she has said she has always wanted to do - so good for her!!

The 30 second clips arent bad. I don't personally like covers, but they're not bad. The lady has somewhat of a "Stevie vibrato" to her voice.

Thanks Joe, I finally got the clips working - crazy WinXP
They do have a nice sound - but they are don't seem to be much more than MIDI carbon copies! But the woman does have a good voice - the YMLF voice is spot on. And they have got the music down pat, except for the yucky tinny MIDI sound.

Producers: Lindsey Buckingham, Rob Cavallo, John Shanks.
I'm not sure about the other 'personnel' thing, but as for the producers - it still was basically Lindsey.
Rob Cavallo I'm pretty certain was the guy who had worked with Greenday etc who wanted to work with Lindsey after OOTC, hence the GOS sessions, leading to the Dance.
John Shanks is, I think, responsible for co-producing just one or two of the tracks - definitely Say You Will anyway.

But take something like Destiny Rules, and I think you'll find it was Lindsey.

Very funny! Love your wry humor Jessica. You succeeded in putting words to the full capacity of Stevie's keyboard abilities. Too bad Linda McCartney wasn't around to pitch in.

Actually Stevie has played a few keyboard parts on some of her solo tracks, but she'll never be a Christine McVie, and I'm sure she'd be the first to admit that.
