That's why I always said those two were the deepest love in the band.
Hasn't this been obvious since the two of them appeared together on the cover of Rumours, without the rest of the band?

The rest of them were there...

at Mick & Stevie's feet.

I have been watching In Your Dreams for the first time this weekend. Mick is there all.the.time. And when Lindsey is there for Soldier’s Angel you can see nobody wants him there, not even Stevie. I really hope he’s truly done with Stevie and her entourage, including Mick.

Yeah, every time I suggest this two will end up together there’s always some BN shipper ready to punch me in the face. But it’s hard to deny there was something always there. Even Lindsey saw it before the RS cover.

If Stevie didn't want him there at that time she wouldn't have called him.

Mick and Stevie have always been best friends lol. They've said so themselves for years and years. The brief affair they had was basically a little blip in the history of their long, tight friendship. It makes sense that they would be such good friends because they're fairly similar people.

I always thought a big part of their closeness was the cocaine.

Exactly. Dave Stewart couldn't understand her music vision with this song so she called LB as she knew he would get it right (as he usually would)... If she didn't want him helping her and at her house, making her album she never would have asked him.

Yes, good call, that would have been a huge common denominator at one point....that and as dreamsunwind mentioned they are VERY similar people...motivated by the same things

One thing is to want someone and a very different thing is to need someone, whether you like it or not. If she had wanted him she would have called him first, instead of exhausting all resources first.

She'd hardly exhausted all resources. He was the person she thought of when her album's producer wasn't getting it. She also invited him to sing and play on the song at her 2011 birthday party at the Wiltern, which she didn't "need" to do.

However horribly she is treating him now, let's not rewrite history.

I don’t need to rewrite history (and I honestly don’t care). She’s doing it for me.

You don’t wake up one day and decide you hate someone enough to get fired. It takes time.
