Default Welch Songs Christine Should've Sung

I can't stop listening to "Keep on Going" and marveling at how great Christine's vocal is on it. I think part of the success of her performance there is that the song is a tad more complicated and textured (harmonically and lyrically) than Christine's own songs. There's a moodiness there that is playful and dark.

So, I was wondering what other Bob Welch songs Christine could have/should have sung.

I'm thinking "Angel" and "The Ghost" are ideal for her voice. Maybe "Bright Fire," too.

I would have like to have heard Sentimental Lady be a full duet instead of just having Christine's vocal on the chorus. As for other songs....Bob's songs are just so 'Bob' that I can't see anyone else doing them...at least the ones he already sang. I'm sure he could write plenty of great material for anyone.

I think she would've been great on Bermuda Triangle as a duet. Love here voice on this.

especially on the live versions where her harmonies on the chorus actually lift the song.

I think with just her on the chorus sounds even more ethereal than if it had been a duet. As it is, her voice almost has an echo-ey quality that lingers. It's the part that keeps lingering in my head long after the song is over.
