Default Rocky Mountain News interview & review

Here's an interview/review from the Rocky Mountain News. Chris has some very interesting things to say. It doesn't sound like this album was about her ex-husband like most of us thought.

Thanks Macfan!! Cool interview. Nice to hear she and John are talking.

I guess maybe the songs *were* really about some other dude and not Eddy. Interesting.

aargh i can't wait to read her Q&A, the anticipation is killing me!!

Yes I thought they were about Eddy (another relationship we knew nothing about was always second favourite imo)

A while ago though Stevie did say she was going out with someone and that she was in love. So it must have been him. I vote we find out who he is and rip his head off! Just joking

The anticipation of the upcoming Q&A is starting to get to me too! I wish they would hurry up and announce when it's going to be posted.

Careful. I called Eddy a name on Chris' forum, and got a slight reprimand.
Don't mess with our Chris! We'll @#$% you up!

Was it you who called him a worthless bastard?

I never did find out why you think that. Is there something we should know?

Do tell!

Well......it didn't work out between them, so, of COURSE, it couldn't be our Chris' fault. Thus, the title I gave him! Guilty by default.
WB. Indeed. Not.

How do you know that she hasn't revealed his name? Does anyone here think there may be a possibility that this "jerk" might be named in the liner notes of the CD booklet? She did mention Dennis Wilson in the Mirage CD booklet. There's one name in the thank you section of the ITM CD booklet that intrigues me

I also agreed with Homer's comment on Christine's message board & didn't say anything. I guess I should have come to his & Christine's defense.

I actually did a Google on Tim Butler; one of the guys that came up was this chap, in London--http://www.kcl.ac.uk/kis/schools/hums/geog/tb.htm

Maybe Chris found the study of the gentrification of London interesting.

FWIW I also agreed w/ HomerMcVie's comment LOL.

Lis, you're amazing. That's exactly the name I was referring to. I've been wondering about "Tim Butler" since I read the liner notes when I got the CD. I hadn't thought about doing a Google search, though. The funny thing is, there's an e-mail address for Mr. Butler on that web page.
