Default Has Anyone Heard "Lissie"? Sounds like Rumours/Tusk Era FM

Has anyone heard Lissie's song, "In Sleep"? Great song and it sounds like a Fleetwood Mack tune. The song's ending is very "Sisters of the Moon" influenced. I think someone mentioned this in another post, but everyone is comparing her to Stevie Nicks. The whole CD is great. http://www.lissie.com/

I downloaded her album, and she's the sort of music I like.

I'm sorta seeing all the "she's so like Stevie!" claims... but at the same time, I'm not.

In Sleep does seem very similar to Sisters of the Moon at the end though.

I love Lissie! 'Catching a Tiger' is a great album.. I think 'When I'm Alone' has the most FM kind of sound though, just the driving rhythm section reminds of Rumours era!

Lissie does resemble Stevie in the sound of her voice, but I think Stevie's is much more unique and distinctive. Also, her music is much more pop-oriented than Stevie IMO, but it is a different decade.

Just found this thread... LOVE In Sleep. I keep hearing it on the radio here in Austin. I thought Sisters Of The Moon when I heard the ending, too. I think When I'm Alone by Lissie is even better, actually. Very, very Stevie . Like others have said... the whole album is just fantastic.

I definitely see where people are coming from in their comparisons, but Lissie's sound isn't derivative at all. I must check out more of her work.

I adore Lissie and the Stevie/Mac comparison is inevitable. "In Sleep" is a great track, I bought the CD at her ACL Fest aftershow.
