def Soundstage. His vocals on the Bass dvd were a bit painful. Last time I watched it my husband asked me what was being tortured and killed in there I can get people to watch SS with me but not Bass, they cant get past his voice to appreciate the songs or guitar playing. Oh well

Prepare to be shocked. I prefer Soundstage. *ducks flying china thrown from Ledgie Lindsey*

The reason? Because he sang songs he didn't do on the solo tour. The live version of I Am Waiting is PHENOMENAL. Down on Rodeo is awesome too. Yes, I was at the Bass Hall that night, but there were better concerts that I attended...like Chicago, Austin and Vancouver. Plus, there were concerts I have the mp3s for that I didn't attend that blow my mind. Lindsey's concerts are all fun and great, but the crowd kinda ruined it a little for me in Fort Worth. Thanks hometown peeps. LOL

I would never throw china. I throw knives. No seriously, I understand. I Am Waiting was unbelievable on Soundstage. I think Bass Hall could have competed if he would have left in Turn It On, Save Me A Place, World Turning and Red Rover though.

AMEN! WTH were they thinking not putting those in? After Rockline, I've lost ALL faith in the human race. LOL

That was going to be my question if I had gotten through...but alas the whistle question got through instead. Oh, and don't forget the college advising question!

I'm about to join the circus. Lindsey....would you recommend me doing trapeze work or should I become a clown?

Oh and I love your song, Rumours.

Releasing two concert recordings with overlap in the song selection in such a short period of time when compared to the rest of his career, makes me think that "Bass Hall" is some kind of a contractual obligation album type of album. But he's a free agent now...

I prefer Soundstage because a) it includes the best thing that ever happened to him - yes Stevie Nicks and b) it doesn't sound quite as fake as the Bass Hall recording. Plus with this latest release, he revealed himself to be the sell-out he accuses others of being.

I think that Soundstage is the one that sounds really fake. Bass is the only one that sounds like it is exactly what happened on the night with no overdubs. Sure, he mimes the end of SYH and he's miming to Neal's playing on IWY but that's what he did on all his tours. If Bass was fixed up in the studio at all then why didn't he fix those awful GYOW vocals?

How is he selling out with this release?
