Exclamation Well...

unless I get crushed by a meteor, Have a tragic accident where my arms are replace by broomsticks (But I would still be able to use my toes though, lol!!!) or I just fall over dead (Possibly due to boredom) I pretty much will share what I have...

It's the LOVE of music, Which is the ONLY thing in the world that EVERYBODY has in common...

If he was speaking of porn, this would be one instance where he's free to brag but not share.

Thankfully, others chose to share. I mean look at Brian J. - who is VERY generous with his stuff as is Tiff, Nancy, and many many others ( {{{HUGS}}} to them!!!!!!

I guess different strokes for different folks
My policy is to share everything I have unless the person who gave it to me asked me not to do so. I know the resentment one feels when someone brags about having a certain song that wasn't shared with the oh-so-plebian fan base, or feels the need to tell you "I get stuff before everyone else does!" The implication is "Look how special I am! More special than you for sure!" Gag me.

I know. I lurked at your site for awhile before posting and was stunnes and appreciative at how generous you were. Then, I met you and, of course, my opinion, if possible, only improved!!!!!!

no ****, I hate the "Look at what I have...But I am not sharing with you so NYAHHHH" B.S.

You'll never see me doing that...Cause people freely helped me when I started out trading so why in the "Wide Wide World of Sports" would I pull the opposite way of thinking when those traders did not have to trade with me whatsoever...

I'm agreeing with Nancy.

My resentment over all this crap began with those blasted master reels. I mean, let's call a spade a spade; that business was complete and utter ****. That's an unpopular opinion among a lot of people, but I don't think that fans should be excluded from having access to that kind of stuff, especially when the very people involved in the master reel brouha would have no boot collection to speak of if it weren't for the oh-so-lowly commoners in the trading circles. When I traded for master reels and had something someone wanted to hear, I posted the damned thing (back when I was putting songs up for download). It's not my music and it certainly wasn't the music of the businessman we've come to know as Bill. Let the people hear it, don't be an asshole over such trivial things.

LOL nah........

I just don't have the time for it right now and maybe never will. I'm not going to start something or make promises when I can't follow through with it. A few emails here and there, but I'm not going to promote something for the sake of saying I have it unless I can share it with everyone.

...and I don't have anything that "special" that no one else has.

I remember that, dissention. Did all that crap turned you off from posting downloads? People can be so lame.

I'm sure that only applies to FM bootlegs.

Yeah, it got to be a very big turn-off. I'm not a seasoned web site designer and I certainly am not an expert at posting songs for download. It was my first stab at it because I wanted to share rare things with people that didn't have access to it because I didn't think it was fair for people to be left out from hearing such good stuff. Then all the bitching started.

The first major bitch was over my saying that I had a "very large" collection of stuff that I wanted to share. Some people took GREAT offense to my saying that I had a "very large" collection and posted a lot of nasty things about me on that wretched Stevie Nicks Chain group. It was incredibly silly.

The second major bitch was over sound quality. I had compressed the files so that I could fit more downloads on the page each week for people to hear. "They" didn't like that one bit.

Then I started getting emails from the group of farts that were involved with Bill and his reels that told me to stop posting the reels or else I'd find myself without a single person to trade with. They were true pieces of work.

It didn't matter that I was the person who started circulating the SYW early mixes or that I was sharing stuff for the sake of sharing, it became all about what people wanted and what they wanted more of. People showed their true colors...yet they still downloaded the f*cking things. It stopped becoming worth the aggravation. I hope everyone liked the stuff I posted because it certainly didn't feel as if anyone appreciated it. It was all about more more more.
