They really are. Lindsey is always talking about things like "experimenting" to grow as an artist so I know he would be in to doing it. The only one I have doubts about is Mick

Yup. And its what Christine said they will do in that interview few months ago. So many other bands do similar stuff, no reason FM shouldn't!

So let's suppose they really do go out as a four. Assuming they start a major world tour with Stevie included in late 2017 or early 2018, when could we expect the four to go out and do shows?
I guess there's need to be a sufficient break between their gigs and the full shows with Stevie. Would it be realistic to hope for them to go out in April through to June? (I know I'm just plucking dates out of the air really). How many shows? where? I really, really hope they travel across the pond. Afterall, three quarters of the band will be British

i think so, as long as they decide to self-release the album. if they start negotiating with the labels, that will waste tons of time. but if they self release they should be able to easily do it in the spring, and start the tour at the same time. they can tour through spring/summer/fall even.

I think Stevie probably to be too gassed out."Tired" by next fall to do anything with FM.If her current tour and now announced outing with Tom Petty adds more dates into next summer. She will be fried. She's no spring chicken.LOL...The FM bus could leave without her next fall and do a 4some tour in late 2017 and in 2018 they all can tour.

I think a foursome tour would be much more interesting than a tour with all five.

They'd play deep cuts, and new songs.

They'd be a real band, just the four of them, not a stage extravaganza with all those extra singers and musicians. (Well, maybe they'd have one extra guitar on a few songs.)

We fans of Christine and/or Lindsey would get more songs by our favorite(s).

The rest of us won't have to put up with annoying Stevie fans because they won't go to this show.

We'd get better seats in a more intimate venue for less money.

Unfortunately, I think they'd need at least someone else singing harmonies. Lindsey seems to have less voice every tour. Poor guy...

THANK YOU!

Imma thinking it may be time for a new signature.

agree with all of this, perfectly summed up all the positive aspects of the FM 4 tour!

although frankly, i think they'd probably do just 6 new songs, and maybe just one deep cut per songwriter. definitely much more space in that setlist when it has to be only divided between 2 songwriters!

curious whether it would be just the 4 of them, or Brett and Neale and Steve Rinkov would still be there. Lindsey's SWS tour had Neale, Brett and Walfredo Reyes on drums, and then his OMS tour was just Lindsey on his own. but yeah, definitely no extra backup singers!

Me too, on both counts.

And I could hear girls all around us bitching non-stop, because Stevie wasn't in the band. It was a good show! Bekka is probably the best singer FM ever had!

Bekka was great with FM.She gave them alittle country flair to them.

Bekka was sexy that's for sure.

My preference is still just the four. It doesn't
really have to be a anti Stevie thing, I just think
it could possibly be a much better album and tour
without her.

She and Billy had an amazing chemistry. I think Dave Mason was overkill, although Billy wasn't in the band when they added Dave. He probably would have been gone if it continued with Bekka and Billy.
