Exclamation World Turning

Quote:
Posted by DownOn Rodeo: So i can't really get it past being a Lindsey Buckingham song with some lyrics that, great though they may be, are palmed off Greeny anyway!
As far as the second part of the quote...I've always wondered the same thing. How could they not give Peter Green credit on this song. It is almost the same as "The World Keep On Turning", from I think English Rose.

As far as the first part of your quote...I'll quote what else you said....

It's a bit of fun speculating who contributed what to the songs. And there's a chance of these raving mad fans will actually know something to the contrary and be able to inform us!

So in my eyes it's still very much a Christine song too!

Why
Over My Head
As Long as You Follow.
Nights in Estoril

I thing As Long As You Follow is beatifully arranged even though the lyrics are a little weak.

Christine's really the best songwriter in the previous version of Fleetwood Mac, in my opinion. I'm amused by the fact that most Mac fans dismiss her songs as superficial & lightweight. Here are my five favorite McVie "dumb pop ditties":

1. Spare Me a Little
2. Think About Me
3. Remember Me
4. Behind the Mask
5. Honey Hi

And here are my favorite tracks, which Christine has to share the credit for:

1. You Make Loving Fun
2. Heroes Are Hard to Find
3. Hold Me
4. Never Forget
5. Sugar Daddy

I consider the majority of her work on her 1984 solo album amateurish, laggy-draggy & poorly arranged. I piss on that album. However, I celebrate the fact that others enjoy it. Let's all love one another & come together in a psychedelic bond of daisies & Constitutional amendments.
