This is amusing... John's sense of humor really comes across here. When he "comes alive", that is. I like when they ask Mick if he's still with them. Mick sounds like me in the morning. "Yeahhghgjhfmumblehere..."

Didn't he make some remarks about her not too long ago - something like Lindsey must think "how did I bang her". Or was that someone else?

I'm not sure, I hadn't heard that. But knowing Howard, you could very well be right.

Bummer...is this interview no longer available? I can't get it...has it expired?
Could you send it again? I'm a big fan of both (Fleetwood Mac and Howard Stern.)

Howard talked about a public television concert he watched where Fleetwood Mac performed. He thought that there were some odd things going on between the band members. He talked about how Stevie Nicks is fat now but she's still doing the moves she used to do when she was hot. He figures that Lindsey Buckingham must look at her and wonder how he ever banged her. Howard said there was some weird dialog between the two of them during the concert and it's almost like a soap opera. He played some audio from the special where Stevie is talking about Lindsey. He thinks that Stevie is still in love with Lindsey after seeing that. He also said they they're a really good band and they still sound good these days. He played a few clips from the concert and complimented them on their performances.

So yes, Howard has said rude things about Stevie. But for Howard Stern it's not so bad, he ends in an appraising way.

Listening to this, I wished Chris would have just let her hair down & gone along with the air of idiocy. Unfortunately, that's not her style, so the whole thing just sounds like desperation on Howard's part: trying to get Fleetwood Mac to actually talk to him here.

I always wonder why celebs bother talking to Howard if they're not going to play along with Howard's game.

I know. She seemed extremely wary of him, especially in the beginning. I kind of doubt she had ever listened to him on the radio. She & John did eventually get a little rapport going. But, Mick was no help whatsoever. He just wasn't there.
