The woman featured in the video does not have the look that I would have chosen. I know they were going for "girl next door" thing, but I don't know.

That's one of Mick's daughters. Amy, if I recall correctly.

Oh. I did not know that. When I first posted, I was going to add something along the lines of hard features, but now I rethink that.

Knowing it's his daughter, I think it's sweet to have her.

No more cheesy than anything else that has ever been shown on MTV (or have you all just blanked that era of your life out of your memory banks?) Jeez...tough crowd.

Why are all the 'live' shots (except for Billy singing) scenes from the TITN Concert release?

I don't think I watched MTV at this time era. I was either stoned or out and about. I see videos all the time from famous bands that I missed out on. The whole hair band thing, I never saw those videos until recent and I almost lost my lunch, it was horrific

I didn't have regular access to cable in the eighties and I would have to see all the videos on those music countdown shows that used to come on on the weekends, Friday and Saturday night.

By the time the nineties rolled around, I had cable, but I wasn't watching MTV or VH1 or looking for music videos. Now, later I did see the Paper Doll video a lot though. I sought it out. That was an exception. I was really into it.

I remember the USA Channel had that all night music & video show Night Flight that would run from about 11PM until 3 or 4AM. Started close to the same time as MTV...remember it lasted until about the mid-90s, MTV as we knew it was a faint memory and Night Flight was still going strong when they canceled it.

Besides music videos, they'd show concert films & other cult films & comedy sketches. Great series!!

Also, good was TBS' Night Tracks.

I was pretty addicted to MTV and VH1, and I've never seen this video until now, although, I have all of the videos from all the band footage. I also never saw the "Love Shines" video when that was a single.

BTW, a Mick/John/Christine/Billy album >>> Mick/John/Stevie/Lindsey album.

I think I've seen this vid somewhere. They all look hot in the video.

To bad the cable TV network conglomerates ruined MTV,VH1,CMT and others with rubbish reality programs to fill their airtime .I figure running just videos would be cheaper then other shows.

Thank goodness for YouTube.

Rant over.LOL.

The CD+G thing did not catch on as I remember .I know the VCD video was popular in other countries but not here in the states.

This video is just awful! But with a song so strange as In the Back of My Mind, what video would work? Was the song released as a single? The videos to Save Me and Skies the Limit are much better.
