I think he's considered cool about the Rolling Stone crew, Uncut, Spin...the guys that do reviews. I know he's considered cool among guitar players...every guitarist I've ever known has an appreciation of SOME sort for him. Maybe not for Fleetwood Mac, but they will give Buckingham his props. Even Neal Preston told me once, and I quote, "I always thought Lindsey was an understated rock genius who never quite got the credit he deserves." But, I think, that's probably the way Lindsey likes it.

I love Lindsey, and for a teenager to be saying that, I would think that gives him some credibiltiy! I dont care if all the other kids in my school think hes 'a lame 57 year old guitarest of a lame band from the 70s', [direct quote from a "friend"] I like him, and as Michelle said, thats all that matters

I'm a posting newbie (though lurking for a few months here) and completely agree with Christine. Being 19 myself, most people I know don't quite get how awesome Lindsey is, regardless of his age. I've seen some fantastic live acts (U2, Springsteen) and Lindsey's two shows I saw (St. Louis, Summerfest) were vindication for his coolness level.
