Default Why LB had to go

1. Mick thought Lindsey was diluting the brand with Buckingham McVie. It was like the two touring version of Beach Boys. There can only be one FM in Micks world.
2. Stevie would not record with LB, ever. He was too good at making music and it made her look back. Her songwriting talents are long over. She cant work with a producer she cant have an affair with. That is why....John Stewart, gone.
3. Since LB can't record with FM and Mick and Stevie likely vetoed performing any Buckingham McVie songs, LB foot down his foot that he wouldn't tour unless the band committed to recording, OR everyone allowing Buckingham McVie songs to be performed as FM here on out, now that Stevie was done with her 24 K Gold tour.
4. Fleetwood Mac was stiffeling whats left of his creative years. Hes been on a roll this last decade, releasing MORE material than anyone else has. Even in Stevie's hayday. That really gets her goat.
5. LB doesnt care about sales. He cares about getting the music out there. Stevie and Mick want SALES
6. LB is perfectly happy in his home life. He has kids and wife and doesn't really NEED more money.
7. After this tour there can be a "Reunion" tour where he comes back, again, and they have another Number 1 greatest hits live album with the Rumours 5.
8. Because Stevie is a spoiled rotten old bitter woman who cant stand that LB had a complete life with family and a career and gets to be in FM and can still write songs alone and collaborate with other songwriters to make music just as good as the songs they wrote in the 70s.
9. Because Mick $$$$$$$$$$$
10. Because Stevie

Number 7!
I think that's what this whole thing about.

Someone will kick the bucket before that happens.

Number 10. Simple as that.
But Number 8 is part of Number 10, so I'd say both.

Number 7 will never happen.

I would have to say number 7 too, particularly since it’s a short tour and not global. Stevie’s solo tour had more dates.
