And why is that? Because It's the truth...we all know how things roll over there in Stevie land.

So cute. I love just about every performance of Songbird, to be honest. I have one from Chicago '80 that is just absolutely amazing. Not just the ending; the entire song is just spot-on, the acoustics in that venue were amazing. And as much as I like the Dance version, the one on the Rumours DVD is just.. wow.

Here's the Chicago one: http://s42.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1...G0CZX00YFG8FIZ
Very nice. What the heck is John saying at the end of that? I hear him saying L and S's names, but everything else, I'm clueless.

"We really enjoyed it"? I think. I can't hear him very well over the audience.

I voted for the Dance version for the poll, but I could have voted for any "Songbird" ever. I think she hit it just right every time. I've never heard a bad one. Other favorites are the very first one in 1977 Nashville, 1980 Atlanta, the Mirage video, the Rumours Classic Album DVD & of course the seven live "Songbirds" that I saw in person over the years.

Ha, yes, I thought the same thing! I can't remember if she mentioned the town or not... It might've been the one from Jackson, where she had to ask where she was. Lemme check.

Yes, I have the 1980 Chicago bootleg. I can't quite understand what John is saying, but I definitely can hear what Lindsey is saying.

Yes, that's the Jackson show. She was very mixed up there at the end. The show was in an amusement park, Great Adventure. At first she thought that was the name of the town, but the audience let her know that she was in JACKSON. She thought that Great Adventure was a funny name for a town.
