The band member who speaks sounds jamacan or something like that, and he announced Peter 1st, then the rest of the band, then Jeff Wittaker last...there was some mention of the "making me feel like a star"...and love stuff(but that could be a semi-standard type of mention many artists use during live performances). The Stuttgart mention I don't hear.

The track listing is different than the Stuttgart, and they didn't do Crying Won't bring you back....plus the order of some of the songs are different...I think you need a copy of what I recieved to actually figure this mystery out.

I think it's clear that there are two different shows. I listened to the Stuttgart
show yesterday, and it's the same show that sharksfan describes.
Jeff Whittaker actually says: "so nice to be back in Stuttgarten again" between two songs. There's no mention of Frankfurt, and the tracklist
is indeed different. So Stuttgart probably is 15/12/84 and Frankfurt 13/12/84, that make sense.
As you say, the "making me feel like a star" thing was probably something
of a routine for Jeff.

Plus, there is a song...Stay Out (of my life) not positive about the title, that I'm not familiar with...during this song, Peter is mainly a background singer and player, looks like a song the rest of the band was "out front" on.
Also...this is an excellent audience recording...about an A rating nonetheless.

Well, this is a different show from the Stuttgart show...thanks Sharksfan 2000 for helping verify from the copy I sent you...It is an excellent audience recording.

Robm - thanks for sending me the copy of the Frankfurt show Although the early '80s period of Peter's work is not my favorite, I think this show is one of the best I've heard from that time. The sound quality is excellent, a little better than the Stuttgart show (which has near-excellent sound). And Peter seemed to be in very good form at Frankfurt, I think he showed a bit more energy than at the Stuttgart show a couple of nights later.

I'm also not familiar with the "Stay Out (Of My Life)" song at the Frankfurt show. Jeff Whittaker or one of the other band members takes the lead vocal on this.

I was introduced to the Original Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green in 1979, and just loved it! At the time his solo albums Little Dreamer and In the Skies had or just came out, and we played those to death....then the White Sky, Kolors, and Whatcha Gonna Do Now (not in that order, I believe) came out in the early 80's, and felt they were not quite as good as the LD and ITS. But I was hooked. Got into post Mac up till Penguin...then gave up on them...sounded like a pop band after that. But kudos to Mick for keeping a career goin'.

This is a nice audience recording from a not very large venue, the trader I recieved this from lists it as Sinkkasten (Master) rated an A.

Hope this clarifies things. I've never heard of the song # 2 on CD 2...it's my best guess from the lyrics.

Also, I've never heard Man of the World...as this song is on compilations, or hits packages...which I've never purchased...I have the regular releases of all Fleetwood Mac with Peter, and his solo, and Splinter Group releases.

Wondering if anyone can confirm the 2nd song on cd 2 that I made a guess of the name...I know a few of you out there I traded with have a copy to listen to, and hopefully have passed this show along to others...just curious

I'll second the welcome, Bassman, and I agree that many of us here would be most interested in any light you can shed on Peter's activities during this time. It's certainly one of the least-known periods of his career and we'd love to hear anything more you're able to tell us about the Kolors tours, recording sessions, etc. Thanks.

Great to have you here, Bassman! Looking forward to some info on this fascinating period. Guess you where pretty close to or...in the band?! Not asking, just surmising
