Which makes a change from threads about Chris somehow managing to mention Stevie.
Christine's name does pop up in conversations on the Stevie Forum from time to time.
And we're always far more kind and complimentary towards her, than her fans typically are towards Stevie.

For whatever that's worth.

About two cents, the last time I counted.

Hmm, that's true. We all love and respect christine. sometimes, a few of us don't like a song or two, but we still always love her. And respect her. I've really not heard a disparaging comment.

I think we're very defensive of Christine (although I cannot think of anyone less in need of defending)

I don't think Christine has ever been jealous of Stevie but maybe we are jealous of the attention that Stevie gets? This sometimes manifests itself in less than complimentary remarks about the chiffon clad one (oops I did it again)

I very gingerly ventured into the Stevie forum this morning to check out that reunion thread. Interesting thread...it started out as a Stevie thread, then morphed into a Christine thread. I didn't quite have the nerve to post there though. Anyway, thanks for the heads up about the thread, Gail.

Thought I would check this board out...and no we aren't all "chiffon heads" Haha

I happen to love Christine and her music a great deal, although no I dont think EVERY song on "in the meantime" was pure gold, I think it was a solid album..

I do find on the Stevie forum that the biggest "weirdos" are usually newbies, and in fact not really wacko just new fans, usually very young with a lot of built up emotions inside lol.. The Stevie chat on the Nicksfix is another story, although I do check in from time to time, because every once in a while the crazies wont be in there and you can chat with some normal folks

Chris
