I got my new issue of Town & Country (June) today. Kristen is the cover girl and there are several pages of photos of their new "old" house in the magazine.

I would if I had a scanner that works. I managed to kill my fax/copier/scanner earlier this week! That would be the second one I've killed in the past six months.

Why is Kristen on the cover? She's not famous.

Plus, it really is the architect and interior designer who politic for the spread - notice how many times they are BOTH mentioned

It is actually a HIGHLY political manuever to get in a magazine of this high prominence. So, kudos to the Buckinghams for allowing it (the owner has the final say) and for us to get a chance to see the beautiful house.

Yes--there are several pics of Lindsey--in the kitchen with the kids and cuddling on a sofa with Kristen. This was T&C's "California" issue or some such nonsense. It's primarly a society magazine--they usually use some Deb or socialite as a cover girl instead of a model. I'm not sure why I subscribe to it to be real honest. I'm a middle-class, suburban kinda gal myself! Anyway, there are pics of their Dining Room, the main staircase, the living room, their bedroom, and Lindsey's studio in addition to the other two I mentioned.

Pretty well done. The only things that freak me out are the loud headboard and hideous lamps on the nightstands. I couldn't sleep in a room with those things in them !

Though I wouldn't want some of it in my home, the decor is very unique (n a good way). I really like the room with the white fireplace. I see the point about the headboard and lamps...who was it that brought up Mrs Roper the other day?!

Hmmm...the b&w pic of just LB & KB: I've always liked LB's
mad scientist hair, but you can only see the base of his hair in this pic due the lighting and it looks H-H-H-H-O-T!
