Default VH1's 100 greatest men poll

DAMN IT!!.....Lindsey didn't make it, on this one either.Well... never mind, I don't need some crummy VH1 poll to tell me who's my no. 1, and besides, who wants to share him with the rest of the world ..I sure as hell don't!!! Incidently, the guy in the top spot wasn't your usual Micheal Jackson/ Elvis, it was Robbie Williams (oh please give us a break!!)

Robbie "Bloody" Williams at number 1?

The UK may have a lot of the top artists in the world but obviously many of the people voting are morons.

Sinatra only at 14, behind Cliff Richard (11)? Lennon only at number 4, Elvis only at 3! Give me a break!

Nothing wrong with Robbie, he was born in the same area as me (and Slash of Guns 'N Roses, a little bit of trivia for you), but he ain't in my top 50, sorry.

A buddy of mine has a digital camera Robbie gave him to repair a couple of years ago. He changed his mind and bought a new one instead and told my friend to just throw the other one away.
Mr.Williams left some interesting pictures of himself and Nicole Appleton (his girlfriend at the time) on his old camera! Hmm, maybe I can persuade my friend to let me post them here at some point! It may be a world exclusive on The Ledge, Ha!

I watched the 20 - 1 countdown on VH-1 on Sunday night and was dismayed that Lennon came in at 4 and Elvis 3. I was racking my brain to think who could 2 & 1. Then Jackson, ah well, yep I suppose top 10 material but not above Elvis and Lennon

and then they announced the No. 1 as Robbie
The TV was turned off on disgust.

VH-1's new logo - Music Television that's not for Kids

I don't think so

I thought it was the 100 Greatest Men, not the 100 Greatest Morons.

With the exception of that £$@&!£% they decided to place at number one, I pretty much liked the content of the list...the ordering could have been a bit different here and there, but it was generally ok, IMO................if they took the list with no ordering, i.e. just a bunch of names, then I was fine with 99 of them....remove Mr. Williams and replace him with our hero .

what poll was this? 100 greatest UK men? I've heard of robbie williams but don't know much about him. What was the criteria on the voting? obviously, it cannot simply be the music.

According to the VH1 ads for 100 greatest men, they had to have a mix of Personality,Good looks, Talent, Musical ability,Masculinity and Sex appeal....ALL of which our hero has (in BUCKET LOADS!!!). Needless to say, there were a couple of oddballs in the list...Ozzy Osbourne( sorry any Ozzy fans) and someone from the Stone Roses come to mind...so WHY not our Linds??? Guess the Brits don't know that much about him-their loss!
