Default FM song titles in Japanese

I came across the Japanese song titles of the local edition of the Tango CD.

All are the same as the actual English titles, except the following:

"Welcome, Sara"
"Midnight Love"
"What's Matter Baby"

Thought they were interesting so I looked up the rest from the major albums.
I'm only including titles that diverge from the English originals.

White Album
All song titles are the same, but the album is called "Fantastic Mac"!

Rumours
"Not Going Home"
"Own Way"

Tusk
"What (Makes) Her"
"Storms Every Night"
"Sister(s) of the Moon World"
"That's Enough" <-- ie That's Enough For Me, not That's All For Everyone
"I'm Not Wrong(/Long)"
"A Night of Memories"

Mirage
"Gypsy of Love"
"Hold (My?) Image Close" <-- This is Wish You Were Here, not Hold Me. It might be "(I) Hold (Your) Image Close", which would be a better fit with the lyrics. But the Japanese is vague.

Interesting.
I had a Japanese roommate in college. Once he had some friends over and this girl who barely could speak English sung Hold Me in perfect English. I was playing FM greatest hits. Other interesting tid bits. Nissan is a Japanese auto maker. The Nissan Altima is called Bluebird in Japan.
Japanese love English words thrown in at the must unusual times. You can listen to Japanese rock bands and every once in awhile you hear English words.
Also don't forget that its impossible to translate every word to another language. Sometimes you have to add words or descriptions to get the idea across.

So interesting, thanks for posting!

Is "A Night of Memories" supposed to be "Never Forget?"

I chuckled at "What's Matter Baby," I would love that song if Stevie's vocals weren't so terrible on it. I listened to TITN in full this weekend and that one always makes me cringe.
"And she stares at the stairs."
"There are many things to stare at these days."

Oh my gosh, yes. One of her most awful lyrics, right up there with "What's faster than a fast car" and "What's deeper than a deep well." And yet, there are pieces of a good song in there. They are just buried under rambling, repetitive, inane crap.

Thanks for posting those, Joe. Made me laugh!

David you wouldn't make fun of Bob Dylan's lyrics now would you? Because according to Stevie she's just as poetic as Bob. Ugh She makes my skin crawl now.

To be fair, she has written some amazing material. There's a reason why she has so many fans. I was just listening to "Sleeping Angel" in the car today and it is indeed poetic and beautiful. So are many of her other songs.

She needs to get back to the gypsy that she was.

Is it still possible? I hope so...

She's written or been helped with some amazing material. And especially in the early days, her voice captured the pain she was in.

I miss that Gypsy.

You're all forgetting or neglecting to remember the classic "forgotten chimpanzee" line from Jane. Thankfully none of her lyrics contributed to FM were as bad as that one.
