I'm totally obsessed with Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings right now... I just love this little song in particular:

A great track and better than the 100 days song you posted. For a year or so maybe I couldn't understand how I'd missed this 'old' group that I kept hearing on radio until I found that they were the Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse band and the tracks were 'months' rather than years old. It maybe retro but I like it!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, that song 100 Days wasn't the best from that album, but it was all I could find on youtube. Better Things is such a cute little song though... it totally gets stuck in your head.

And I'm a big fan of Amy Winehouse too... her album Back To Black is a modern masterpiece. I can't wait for her new album... though I doubt it'll be able to top Back To Black.

I'm in a late 90s/2000 pop mood here and it rarely got better than this. Shame they only did 2 albums and the Darren Hayes's solo stuff isn't as good (although he does give Stevie and Rock A Little a credit on on of his solo albums).

Yes I have them. I was surprised at how good some of the albums are - particularly Bringing it all back home & Blonde on Blonde. It took me a while though, to get used to the fact that some of the tracks are either shorter or longer than the versions I know.

Lindsey Buckingham - Down On Rodeo.
I'll never stop enjoying this song. The melody is exquisite, as well as the intelligent and frankly beautiful utilisation of instruments. Even the seemingly small addition of soft jingling bells in the background of some sections add a beauty to it that just makes the song absolutely sumptuous and delicious.

I adore that song. It might just be my favorite Lindsey solo song of all.
