Currently listening to Tusk all the way through. can't get behind Chris on this album. She drags it down. Just too songs of hers I like the rest sound dull and half-baked. Sorry
Mick

Hello all: I'm afraid I must disagree with Mick, the Blue Fox, on this subject. I think "Tusk" presents Chris at her most versatile. Catchy, up-tempo pop (Think About Me). Mix in three romantic ballads (Honey Hi, Brown Eyes, Over and Over), and you have a fine contribution. Thirty years later, the lady still sounds great! Best regards, Madelow.

That's only when I sing it! Chris doesn't know any better.

She was probably drunk when she recorded it, and forgot the right words!

Brown Eyes
Certainly her most adventerous, abstract song to date

Bringing this thread back because I’ve been listening to TUSK all week and putting “Brown Eyes,” “Over and Over,” and “Never Forget” on repeat.
Her vocals on this record are exquisite. |

Had Tusk on in the car for the last couple of days.
Was thinking about how Never Forget would be a great concert closer in place of Songbird. Has it never been played live? Lovely song.

Yes I agree. Sometimes it gets forgotten as the album closer. I would love to hear it live. It would have been so good to do in a small theater on the Buck/Vie tour.

Over & Over, closely followed by Never Make Me Cry.
TAM is the typical sound of a great single. Should be a favorite, but no; I don't know why but this song has never convinced me.

You know, if I had to pick ONE FM song, that's my song forever, it would be Think About Me. I love everything about that song!
It doesn't/didn't get the love it deserved.

Hard to pick, all 6 songs are great. I would go with my all time fav of hers Over and Over but the original Brown Eyes with Peter Green and the alternate lyrics steals the show. Sublime, a perfect song.
I do agree with Homer about TAM should have been the lead single and would've been a massive hit. Her second best pop song after You Make Loving Fun.
