You beat me to the "breaking" news!

I'm a big fan of the "Under the Covers" album series of Mathew Sweet and Susanna Hoff. They both have impeccable knowledge and taste in music, evident in their song choices. And being great musicians, they really know how to render and honor the songs.

Volume 1 covered the sixties. Volume 2 covered the seventies and featured their version of Second Hand News. Both Mathew and Susanna profess love and respect for Lindsey Buckingham/Fleetwood Mac.

What a surprise to just find out they have Volume 3 out, covering the eighties, featuring Lindsey's first solo hit, Trouble. Cool.

I really enjoy this series as well...catch them live if you can, always a fun night.
"Trouble" is nicely done. The real standout track on this collection is "They Don't Know."
