Maybe she got an advance on the $5 mil that Stevie is scrounging up to give to her.

Anyway, time is running out before she starts missing those dogs too much and leaves.

Put her to work now. Sooner the better.

I agree with Mick at the beginning of the clip.

I am so glad that there is such positivity on this thread. It certainly provides stark contrast to the negativity and raving going on in other parts of this board.

Some Fleetwood Mac fans are still saying that about Peter Green! Embrace the fact Fleetwood Mac is very unique in the way they have survived and evolved through many configurations and styles. As long as their namesakes (Mick and John) are there, it will always be Fleetwood Mac, regardless of whoever else is in the band.

I'm hoping we have an album of new music to look forward to if Stevie and Lindsey can come to terms with each other. While Say You Will was an interesting, creative and challenging album, I still think they could produce a great album artistically on or near par with Rumours. At least I hope that it will have a warmer sound than the steely feel of their previous work.

The poster you reply to was commenting that it isn't the same without Christine. They are correct, it isn't. Whether you think FM is better or worse without her, it is different.

We're all very much aware of the ever-changing nature of this band. I don't think those of us who have been posting on this thread, which has been a joyful thread about an event we didn't expect, need to be told to embrace the fact that the band has thrived on change. We can be maudlin for the full Rumours lineup if we want!

For the record, I couldn't care less about the current lineup's attempts at an album, but I respect those who could and am happy for them if they get what they want.

Yeah, but Christine even played with him on "Mr. Wonderful". In fact, "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" and the never-intended-for-release "Fleetwood Mac In Chicago" (and, okay, the Boston Tea Party set) are the only albums that don't have Christine on it. There are people who've come and gone, but, aside from Mick and John, none have been as essential to the "Fleetwood Mac" sound as Christine McVie.

It would be a dream come true if Christine would be joining the band for the tour. Let's cross our fingers...
And now that she's been on a plane and on stage again - who knows?

Just think of all the wonderful possible additions to the setlist:

You Make Loving Fun
Songbird
Isn't It Midnight
Oh Daddy
Over And Over
...

And, though highly unlikely:
"Never Forget" would be such a great song to close the show! Just imagine tens of thousands of fans singing: "We will never forget tonight..."

other than Songbird, i don't have any desire to hear any of the songs listed above live even if Christine is there ... but there are others i wouldn't mind.
