In less than a week I'm going on a big road trip into the piney woods and cypress bayous of East Texas. I'm going to see my extended family... and haven't seen most of my Aunts and Cousins in 10 years now. I'm both excited and extremely nervous... the whole family unit dissolved following my Grandfather's death in 1997. So I could either be signing up for a wonderful or terrorizing experience... my Aunts are damned feisty!

I'm NICKSING OUT right now. All because I just spent two hours on the phone with my bank tying to dispute a series of fraud charges. I needed the emotional pick-me-up. Yaaaaaaay

Such an awesome day. Went to Pike Place Market....

Bought the world's BEST dried fruit/some normal fruit.....

Enjoyed Seattle in it's splendor....

And watched the sun set over Elliot Bay.

I love it here.

Nope, just moved here six weeks ago for college! I'm at Seattle U. Loving the Hill

^^ Ugh, I LOVE Florence + the Machine! That was a great video, thanks for sharing it! I have her CD and my favorite song by her is The Drumming Song, I'm so amazed by her.

I like this version a lot. I was wondering how they'd do the DRUMming song without drums...but it was really great. And yeah, them two for me are the only ones I listen to all the time. Not just saying that either! Florence is like my other idol. To have a voice like her...

I first saw Florence perform at the MTV video awards and I thought.. Hmmm.. she reminds me of Stevie. Something about her.. maybe it's the dress. I ran out and bought the CD after that and from there I fell in love.
