Default Will the tour be filmed?

What do you guys think? Here's to hoping the 3 dates in London is a sign of a filming! This tour kicks SYW's butt in my opinion!

More likely that if a show were going to be filmed, it would have been a show stateside.

What's even odder is that the radio didn't simulcast or delay-broadcast any of the shows, making this the first Fleetwood Mac tour in -- what? -- forty years that wasn't put on radio.

Yes, indeedy, Ethan. It was the first night at the Arrowhead Pond in California that was broadcast on radio. Almost in its entirety, too.

Really? I'm just curious as to why you feel that way. I personally miss the new material the SYW tour presented, and the passion Stevie exhibited. Granted, the inclusion of Storms was something I'm thrilled with and thought we'd NEVER see, but I could have said the same thing about Beautiful Child for the Say You Will tour. Before I have people jump on me, I'm not trying to be negative at all, I'm just curious as to why Gavin feels this tour is superior .

I feel the band sounds better this tour...listening to stevie's vocals and watching her on the SYW tour dvd get a little painful for me at times! I liked the new stuff that was on the SYW tour, but performance wise i think they are better on this tour, not to mention in a better place. I also enjoy the SYLM cover, Monday Morning, and the arrangement of Go Insane on this tour...

If they were going to film this tour i think it would be in the studio at pbs for another soundstage performance maybe at the same stage where stevie did hers in 2007.that would be a cool idea or they may film the show over seas.

i love the say you will tour i saw 4 shows on that tour it was awesome new cd and wish she played a few more new songs but it was an excellent show and they are playing the same way they did on the say you will tour although i do like the unleashed tour but feel the unleashed tour is more staged performance and almost going thru the motions were if they had a new cd to promote with new music i think it would have been more into this tour.

As per Mick, no they are not filming for the general public. However, they do film every performance for themselves, & he said that they hadn't done that in awhile, since I brought it up. He said that gave him pause to remember to record the Europe shows for the band. bummer!

Probably so that they would be able to edit it and stuff with a selection of three shows in the same city.

Just a guess.

You don't necessarily need three nights to record or anything (obviously).
They better record sometime on their European leg though - we've got to have "Storms" on a good quality DVD with Dolby Digital (preferably Blu ray), ya know?

You could just do one night and film each song multiple times, for a dvd. Like LIB.

But I like the rumor anyway. There is no other place I'd rather have them film than London, because then, just maybe . . . I'm beginning to get vapors just thinking about it. I could daydream about that all summer.
