Absolutely (IMO).
It was just frustrating and worrying to only be hearing one side of the story, and it was a relief to hear something from his side (and to see that he seems to be "business as usual"), regardless of the rights and wrongs of whatever did actually go down.

His public persona is eloquent and diplomatic, and he seems sincere, but for example I can fully sympathize with Stevie perhaps not wanting to be under his thumb in the studio (which is his domain/territory, after all), especially when there's a rocky history going all the way back to your teens.

Raging angry because I was disappointed?
I didn't realize my words carry so much weight

I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure they make

It sure is. And I was expressing how I felt.

Everything about him screams Democrat. That
only describes about 80+ percent of all artists.

There’s a big world out there when you turn off Fox News. Wake the **** up.
Sorry I don't have cable or satellite TV. So no
Fox News for me. But there's a plus side to that,
no MSNBC either.

I'm just a poor uneducated Southerner who's having
difficulty understanding your post. But I thought we
weren't suppose to post personal attacks on The Ledge.

Then again, you've outsmarted me again. You painted
with such a broad brush that the moderators couldn't
possibly know that you were trying to cut me down.

You are clever, no doubt about it.

It's sad that this situation has come about, but we still don't really know what happened other than what has been said by the actual people who are living through it...and we don't really know how honest they are being about their statements either. Everyone else just makes gossip and assumptions around what is being said, and I think it's childish. Everybody is busy dogging on the rest of the band, but it's not to say that he doesn't have a fault in here somehow for it to be such a huge fallout.

Anything that is being said should be taken with a grain of salt.

Beyond that, I think he sounded great and I would even be willing to see a solo show of his if he comes to my area.

Just my 2 cents and that's what it is.
pretending that we don't know what happened and that bands' blathering ridiculous beating around the bush in CBS and RS/SXM interviews is equal to LB's poised and dignified statement is childish. same as bringing up 1987 in 2018.

you have a weird definition of love.

The fact that he left the band only after producing a successful album for them, under trying circumstances, in 1987 says to me that he did rise above then.

On either side of the argument, everyone loses. I personally doubt that we will see them all together again. But who knows....the saga continues.

Very well said. And I think all of their "personal" demons...to borrow Lindsey phrase were at an exacerbated state then.

from https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/ne...maries-1115468

Mike Levin, campaigning to fill the seat vacated by Republican Darrell Issa of California Congressional District 49 in San Diego County, counts as supporters Cameron Crowe, George Takei and producer Talia Osteen, who raised $30,000 at a single event that featured Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham.

Fleetwood Mac did some political concerts in the past. They were never Jackson Browne or Joan Baez, of course, but they did some fundraisers for candidates, and some environmental stuff. Individual members played some environmental fundraisers that were tied to specific initiatives on the ballot, like Get Tough on Toxics and Mulholland Tomorrow and Sanctuary Arizona.

Oh, and then there was that president who got them to play at his inaugural ball and again at the White House.

And that whole Greenpeace speech at the end of the BTM shows.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
