Lincoln, Nebraska.
Oh, wait.. he canceled his show ten minutes before it was set to begin (the only show canceled out of the whole tour!). |

Lindsey has had a diva-like and/or aggressive/violent incident on every single tour he's been a part of the last, oh, 30 years or so. This upcoming tour should be no exception.

I was sad the people in the Nebraska area missed out. I remember at the time someone from there posted and had tickets and it was awful the show was cancelled and never rescheduled, but that facility had a bad reputation and although a small act, Lindsey was probably in a better position to walk away when he became aware of the misrepresentations about the equipment, than most of the acts they jerk around are. I think its great that he stood strong and wouldn't just play there.
I wish he had booked another nearby facility later in the tour though. That would have been nice for the fans who missed out. Michele |

I caught Lindsey's act twice last year, once in Salt Lake City, at The Depoe, and then in Portland OR at The Aladdin. The audience at The Depoe was comprised of younger and older, but The Aladdin seemed to have the older folk who were a bit more laid back. I stood for two hours at The Depoe, because LB had asked that all the center folding chairs be removed so people could gather in front of the stage. It ws great and he put on a real good show.
At The Aladdin, which was sold out for two months in advance, the security people didn't prevent me from moving down to the front of the stage, along with others. But LB seemed tired, it was close to the end of his tour, I think. But it was great to be so close and at the end he walked across the stage and reached out to shake the hands of those who had gathered in front, myself included. I'm going up to Portland to see him in September, at the Newmark. Is anyone else going to be there? I've heard the Newmark is patterned after an Elizabethan theatre. Also it is the second stop on the tour so he should be energized! |

I have to agree...but that might be the home turf bias... I was in the front row for that one and everything was just perfect... the bootleg proves it! Just amazing!! I am not counting on the Keswick show being as good as the TLA crowd-wise though... let's hope!

Newmark Theater in Portland Oregon
I stated earlier that the Newmark in Portland was based on an Elizabethan theater design when in fact it is Edwardian.
Here is the information from their site: "This 880 seat theater was designed to emulate the Edwardian-style theaters of Europe. Home to a variety of productions, this theater is refined and elegant. It is also one of the most intimate theatrical experiences you'll ever encounter. No seat in the theater is further than 65 feet from the stage." |

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input and great suggestions... I finally decided on Boston since I've got some friends up in New England and I have a gig in New York that week....
Thanks again...

I'll be in Tulsa. This will be my first time there so I'll have to see how it compares to the places around here in Tennessee...

I'm thinking Chicago would be one if not the best places to see him.
Unfortunately I can't make it up there and will have to settle for the hometown Indianapolis crowd... Lindsey has never played here, hope it goes over well! |
