Default Ranking the Stevie Angry-Rocker Songs

I noticed that many of Stevie's albums post-Bella Donna have at least one angry song with more intense music and lyrics than the others. Of the list I've compiled, how would you all rank them?

1. Nothing Ever Changes (Wild Heart)
2. Smile at You (Mirage)
3. No Spoken Word (Rock a Little)
4. Long Way to Go (Other Side of the Mirror)
5. Freedom (Behind the Mask)
6. Love is Like a River (Street Angel)
7. Fall From Grace (Trouble in Shangri-la)
8. Everybody Finds Out (Say You Will)

I'll post my thoughts later but I'm struggling to decide between No Spoken Word and Long Way to Go for the top spot... two of my favorite latter day Stevie songs. Then again, Fall From Grace also kicks some serious ass...

"The sun is bright, but not too bright to see. When the darkness comes you've got to fly into the light." -Doing What I Can (The song that got me into Lindsey Buckingham)

Cool thread
I always liked the angry Stevie songs. Your list is very good. I don't think Fall from Grace kicks ass as you say. Stevie and Sheryl stated they wanted one rocker for TISRL. The song is faster paced but not a rocker at all. No guitar solo, no rocking drums. No Spoken Word is one of the best songs on RAL but the programmed bass drives me nuts. There is a demo where real drums and percussion was layered into the song. Not sure why they did not put that version on the album. The song rocks live but not on the album. The extended version of Long Way To Go is the most rocking Stevie song IMHO.

Okay I'll give this a whirl:

Smile at You
Planets of the Universe
Long Way to Go
Trouble in Shangri La
The Chain
Sisters of the Moon
Doing the Best I Can
Stand Back
Violet and Blue
No Spoken Word

I think Fall From Grace is stronger, angrier live:

I'll take a shot:
Trouble In Shangri-La:
1-Fall From Grace
2-Planets of The Universe (tie with above)

3-Sisters of The Moon (Fleetwood Mac, Tusk)
4-Smile at You (Fleetwood Mac, but this solo demo was stronger)

5-Nothing Ever Changes (Wild Heart)
6-Long Way to Go (The Other Side of The Mirror)
7-Everybody Finds Out (Fleetwood Mac, Say You Will)
8-Gold Dust Woman (Fleetwood Mac, Rumours)

In Your Dreams:
9-You May Be The One (seems like an angry song, although not a rocker)
10-Wide Sargasso Sea (not an angry song, but a power song as it progressed)

24 Karat Gold - Songs From The Vault:
11-I Don't Care!
12-Mable Normand

Why hasn't anyone yet remembered about Blue Lamp? Especially the Outtake version:

Some of us have a different opinion of what an angry song is
While I love Doing the best that I can, I don't find it angry. Its more desperate than angry. I don't think Gold Dust Woman is angry either. Planets has the angriest verse but its cut from the album version so without it its borderline
I agree Everybody finds out has some bitterness and anger.

Long Way to Go
Fall From Grace
Nothing Ever Changes
No Spoken Word
Smile at You.

I don't see Everybody Finds Out as angry.

Dreams is her best "f*ck you" song.
The ending of Silver Springs is pretty angry.
