"Fleetwood Mac touches down at the New Orleans Jazz Fest for the first time to cap off the "second Saturday" at the Acura Stage. Country combo Little Big Town precedes Stevie Nicks and company, as does the irrepressible Cowboy Mouth. The Gentilly Stage and Congo Square boast headliners of more recent vintage, in Phoenix and New Orleans' latest contemporary R&B star, Frank Ocean, respectively. Smooth jazz vets Stanley Clarke and George Duke team up at the Zatarain's / WWOZ Jazz Test, while Los Lobos settles in at the Blues Tent. And Norah Jones goes quasi-incognito with her country music side project the Little Willies at the Sheraton Fais Do-Do Stage."

They may break the record for attendance...I think Lenny Kravitz or Bruce Springsteen currently holds that honor...since Thu and Friday may be washouts, many people are just gonna wait and go on the weekend when the weather is better!

they are giving them 30 mins extra, so all together 2 hrs 10 mins. still less than their full set but much closer.

NOLA Defender, May 1, 2013

http://www.noladefender.com/content/...-aaron-neville

Every minute counts at Jazzfest, and the producers apparently saw fit to make some last-minute tweaks to the schedule for the second weekend to allow for the changes. On Saturday, May 4, crowds will get 30 more mintues of Fleetwood Mac than initially planned, and more Aaron Neville on Sunday.

The new Saturday schedule moves Fleetwood Mac's Acura Stage start time up to 4:40 p.m., as opposed to the originally scheduled 5:10 p.m. start time. The change cuts into Little Big Town's time, who will now end at 3:55 p.m. On Sunday, Aaron Neville will start 15 minutes earlier than scheduled on the Gentilly Stage at 5:45 p.m., while Hall & Oates will now start at 3:45 p.m. and finish at 5:15 p.m. Irma Thomas will now start 2 p.m. At the Acura Stage, Trombone Shorty will now start 10 minutes earlier at 5:35 p.m., tweaking all of the other sets that day 5-10 minutes.

I can see maybe Eyes, Say Goodbye, and NTF being cut for Lindsey and Sara, SOTM, and Silver Springs being cut for Stevie.

Also perhaps only one new song cutting either Without You or Sad Angel.

I don't see many songs from Rumours getting cut, which unfortunately would make this show very, very Rumours heavy.

The weather forecast for Saturday is 71/72 degrees, partly cloudy, and windy 15/20 mph....It has been raining all week and the Fairgrounds are full of muck/mud in certain areas...glad I found some white rubber "shrimping" boots to wear!!
