The crowd was rockin', and the band was stoned.

Wow what a night, gotta love it when you feel micks kick drum & johns bass in the chest, even when you are in the stands

Some preliminary crap shots from my iPhone... more pics/video to come:

Random thoughts: Band seemed tighter tonight and everyone- even Stevie- seemed to be all smiley and perky. Even John was moving in time with the rhythm. A young African American girl, who saw me looking through my pictures on the subway, asked me where I was sitting- she had apparently been at the show. Anyway, for some reason I just thought it was super cool that someone like her who, let's face it, is the total opposite of FM's core fanbase demographic, is into FM. It warmed my heart to think that, on some rough and tumble block in West Philly, there is a young black girl grooving to "Gypsy" through her headphones as she walks down the sidewalk.

Pardon me but let's clarify what FM fanbase demographic is? Wow I can't even believe you would write something like that...am I the only one that actually took offense to that???

I'm not offended. I know what was intended, even if it's not the most politically correct thing in the world.

Those iPhone shots are amazing. The one of John and Stevie is so sweet. And I'm very familiar with that spot in front of Lindsey!

Yes. And please get over yourself. In case you haven't noticed, FM/Stevie shows are generally a sea of older white people with some exceptions. Her youth and her ethnicity struck me as being quite unusual for an FM show, and it just made me feel good that she was there and made me hopeful that FM's fanbase was broadening.

I AM over myself. Clearly the fanbase is older white people with an exception but I just think it was out of line but whatever it's my own opinion I guess. Some things should just be kept in thought..not typed out but whatever..I'm over it.

At least I enjoyed the pictures.

Sometimes people just say what everyone is thinking...It's out of line to point out that a young black girl was at a Fleetwood Mac show and that's kind of out of the norm? I don't think so...geez who are going to offend, the huge black population on the Ledge?
