Someone could do a really interesting psychoanalysis of Mac fans if they wanted to.

By the way, you forgot to include my favorite faction... the folks who never fail to mention they're "over" Stevie and yet never stop talking about her (or including her in their signatures!). They're the most intriguing of the bunch.

I almost second this . Stevie's my favorite, but I'm not a chiffonhead. I enjoy pre-and post-BN FM, I know who Peter Green is, and I like SortaSavageLike So what am I?? My god, someone better tell me before I have an identity crisis!

I wonder why that is?

One should note, however, that Stevie is no longer in my signature. Also, even I am not brave enough to actually attach the goat pic to all of my posts. It was only a joke.

Of course it was only a joke - I have seen you do and say much worse than that goat pic

Hmm... judging by SortaSavageLike's new signature banner, it looks like I may have made a new friend.

I rather liked Elmer better.

Almost a breaaaakdoooooown...

Yeah, I dunno. I used to have bursts of extreme fan-ness for Stevie or Chris, but not so much anymore.

Hmm.......I think I'm a hanger-on with qualifications, I would say a hanger-on in overall spirit.
Hmmm......several of these factions bug me but I voted for the "general fanboy/fangirl" faction as bugging me the buggiest. I hate the newer fans. But hmmm..... I hate the old fans too.

I think I hate everybody!

i went with the greenie fanatics. he did write a few good songs, but i would rather listen to Jane on repeat ad infinitum before moseying over to put on Then Play On or English Rose. but that's what makes me a chiffonhead (minus the lashing out part)...

There really wasn't a "Bob Welch years" category, although I DON'T mean just Bob! MTM is better than anything The Old Tank and The Whiner, have ever done.

I'm completely with you on the new fans!!! I'll take Peter's old blues guys over the 16yo's, ANY DAY. EVERY DAY.

(and people wonder why I don't like kids!)

Hey David, how did your colonoscopy go? Hopefully okay!

Where's the "all of the above?" option?

Watch it, buddy.

I've been here for three years, since I was 13, and I can tell you this much: it's not about age as much as it is about maturity level. There are 30-somethings on this board who have the mentality of toddlers, and there are 16 year-olds that are wise well beyond their years. And vice-versa. And hey, I bet money that there are even some 16 year-old Green fans with sticks up their asses, so there you go.

Contrary to popular belief, not all of the younger members of this board are taken~ by the wind~~*~~ and tYpE lYk DiS LOLOLOL. Are there some? Of course. But we're not all like that. If you're basing your opinion on those kinds of things, then you might as well include all windchildren.

Oh, and I went with the "Sugar Daddies." I'm as pretentious as they come, but, seriously? It's Fleetwood Mac. No reason to be uptight.
