She's so honest and professional about the bug thing thats another reason why that I love her.
Other probably not even mention of it happening. She's very lucky it was not a bee, wasp or a hornet.Because shes so sweet. My friend had 3 bees in his mouth and luckily he spit them out without getting stung.

Best of New Orleans
http://www.bestofneworleans.com/gamb...nt?oid=2197009 Thrills and Chills: A look back at Jazz Fest 2013 Count Basin™ weathered all the highs and lows of an exciting New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. There was everything from Fleetwood Mac's two hour and 20 minute set on the Acura stage to Canadian DJs of A Tribe Called Red shorting out the sound system in the Native American Pavilion with their revved up electric powwow. Days were split between sunny skies and heavy showers, but the mud pits stayed. *** Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks, clad in black and sky high heels, said she had to get "honest" with her audience during a brief set break: a bug flew in her mouth. "A big, New Orleans bug," she clarified. An at-the-ready John McVie motioned Nicks to a nearby water bottle, but she waved him off: "Can someone get me a coffee?" Her vocals did get a workout, from Rumours classics to "Gypsy" and a few crowd pleasers from Tusk and the new song "Sad Angel" off the recently released EP. |

By Ryan O'Malley, Weekender Correspondent http://timesleader.com/news/WK_Music...mmer-highlight For those who did stick it out for their favorite acts, the music did not disappoint. Fleetwood Mac, arguably the headliner of the second weekend, put together a set chockfull of hits, including “Second Hand News,” “Tusk,” “Rhiannon,” an exquisite “Landslide,” which showcased Stevie Nicks' still crisp voice, and a pounding “Go Your Own Way,” which turned into one of the loudest sing-alongs of the weekend. Earlier on Thursday, a reunited Widespread Panic trudged through a rain storm with a fiery set, including “Climb to Safety,” “Blackout Blues,” and a fine take on Traffic's “Dear Mr. Fantasy.” |
