Sara intro guitar tab
E----------3--------------------------------h20------------2-------
B-------3----3------------2h30-----------0---------------2----2------- G----0----------0------2--------2-----0---------------2----------2-- D---------------------------------------------------------------------- A-------------------0-------------------------------0------------------ E--3-------------------------------3---------------------------------- G A Gmaj7 A This is how I learned the intro to "Sara" on guitar. Chords on intro : G - A - Gmaj7 - A I don't know if it's the right chords but sounds like it may be right. *I'm not familiar with posting tabs so the hammer ons may be wrong. When I fingerpick the intro I add a lil hammer - on Corrections always welcomed. |

Also wrong.
If you want to play the "piano riff" from the Tusk version of the song, it's best to slap a capo on the 3rd fret. The "live" version of Sara has a completely different guitar riff.

I'd like to learn the part towards the ending " when you build your house I'll come by........Ohh Sara".... Lindsey plays a little guitar part from the Tusk cd
E-12 12 10 10---------------------------------------------------- B--------------13 13 15 15-------------------------------------- G---------------------------------------------------- D--------------------------------------------------- A-------------------------------------------------------- E--------------------------------------------------- I hope you understand what Im talking about, it sounds a lil something like that. Or Id like to learn the ending from Sara live from the Tusk documentry And on Gold Dust Woman ( Rumours cd ) " see your sumrise loves to go down" whats that lil fill in acoustic guitar part? I've got some pretty accurate tabs for you. You should try to learn the whole songs and not just little bits of them.
Dreams (from The Dance) http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/f/flee...tab_ver_2.html Landslide: http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/f/flee...tab_ver_3.html Rhiannon (old version): http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/f/flee...tab_ver_3.html The Chain (Rumours): http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/f/flee...chain_tab.html When I See You Again: http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/f/flee...tab_ver_2.html

Thanks for the tabs! How long have you been playing guitar? I play an acoustic, I don't have an electric guitar at the moment.
From " Dreams" I like this part of the song: --------0------------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------6----------------8-------------------6------- ----2--------2----------4-------4--------5-------5----------4---------4---- -3------------------5----------------7------------------5-------------------- repeat: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I found another way to play the intro to "Sara" ( capo 3rd fret) -------------------3-----------------------------------4-------- -------------2-----------------2------------------5--------------5--- -------3-------------------3----------------4---------------4------- --0-----------------------------------0----------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------5--------------------------------4-------------------- -----------7---------------7-----------------5--------------5---------- ------6--------------6-----------------4--------------4---------------- --0-------------------------------0-------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Last edited by Bm7th; 03-18-2010 at 02:41 PM.. Been playing for about 13-14 years.
yeah that Dreams riff is fun. I think the 0 note makes it easier to play (I believe Lindsey actually frets that not on the 5th fret of the B string.) The way you put SARA up in the previous post is much closer to the record. The live version (from the 1980 double album) isn't capo-ed at all, and all fun to play if you have a delay pedal for an electric.
