It's a great performance, particularly given that she's still recovering from her cold. So far, my favorite version of this song is Chicago, 2/14.

It is great. It sounds more like the recorded version and also her earlier live performances of song. Maybe it's due to the cold but I've noticed some of her vocals in the past few shows are subtler and sound less forced. I think it's a nice change. She doesn't always have to belt everything out.

I'm with you! For the most part their live performances have never sounded like their refined and crafted studio counterparts. On stage, the songs were stripped down to essentials - rendered in a more rock and roll manner. I love the distinction between them. And later on. with the edition of the extra musicians and vocalists, the songs had more of the nuances of the studio versions.

Early on, as I became fascinated with the band (1976) I so curious to know how these songs sounded when they were performed live. I would buy and trade cassettes mail order from traders. I recall Rolling Stone and other music magazines having a classified sections where bootleggers were advertised. Of course all transactions were done by snail mail, so it was a tedious process of back and forth. The fidelity of some of those recordings were horrid. But I cherished them as they were a glimpse into their stage performances. I think that is when I formed an obsession for set lists.

You know, I might be the only Ledgie that feels this way, but I LOVE the slowed down version of NGBA. I think of you Michele every time I watch this and giggle and wonder how you could not just adore this performance. This is Lindsey's 'Landslide' time with an audience. He brings the song practically down to a whisper and in the live setting we just eat it up. I thank God for creating Lindsey Buckingham and I know you do too. His musical abilities have enhanced my life in so many positive ways.
