I've had a crush on Christine for what....30 years or so now. How can one NOT? She's stunning and beautiful and gorgeous and talented and classy and elegant and...and...well, you get the point.

This may really boarder on minutia, but technically, it was RCA SelectaVision CED (Capacitance Electronic Disc) Video Disc. It's not really a laser disc. It was a consumer video format on grooved vinyl discs that was marketed by RCA in the 1980's. They had the same resolution as a typical VHS tape.

I found this out the hard way about six weeks ago when I bought one after I found "Live At The Roxy" the "Tusk" documentary, the "Mirage" video, and the Beatles' "Let It Be." (Guess which disc was the most exensive!) It's interesting, but the discs or players have a nasty habbit of skipping. The picture quality isn't great, either.

But, at least I finally got to see "Roxy." It was okay. I was a bit bummed that there wasn't at least ONE song with the "Mystery" band in full, or ONE song that just featured the six who were actually in Fleetwood Mac at some point. Oh well. It's still interesting for any Mac fan. The video makes me wish Fleetwood Mac would have kept playing old Christine songs (esp. "Remember Me"). I will say that the member of the "Rumours" band who looked the best was, and I'm as surprised by this as anyone, Mick Fleetwood

But, the Mystery To Me line-up does do one song in full, "Remember Me". Mick, John, Chris, Bob Welch AND Bob Weston all play on that song, granted there are other musicians playing as well. Bob Welch never introduced Bob Weston, but you can see him playing guitar on stage.

The highlight of the Roxy concert for me is "Sentimental Lady", "Hypnotized" & of course, "Remember Me". I wish they had done more of those songs from that era in the set.

Mick and John are not on "Remember Me," just Christine and the Bobs. Heck, Alvin leads the song off with the rather silly "One, two, you know what to do." The "Heroes" band does "Hypnotized," but that's the only song that features John.

Hmm...I'm going to have to check my video again. I thought Mick & John played on "Remember Me". I also thought John played on "Sentimental Lady".

Yeah, now I remember that silly "one, two and you know what to do". Chris also says "I hope this goes OK", almost like they may had problems with the song during rehearsals. It sounded great to me!
