OK guys, I'm sorry to bump this thread but I'm desperate. I was watching a video on Megavideo and that Vista Security virus it on my computer now I have no idea what to do because I am basically computer illiterate so any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Well anyway, I ran Norton and AVG, neither of which found anything. Shortly after that it closed all of my programs and wouldn't let me open anything. So I had downloaded Malwarebits a few days ago just in case and it is definitely a miracle working program

The sad part is, while it was in the process of destroying my computer, I grabbed my flash drive and immediately copied all of my Stevie photos, and my favorite songs I guess that shows my priorities. For some reason within this short amount of time, I got Tusk too, but it was the only Mac album I copied...strange. Not that it matters considering I have the cd's somewhere.

Its pretty astounding how there are people who purposefully create these viruses. Clearly their parents didn't love them.

I was thinking the same thing, it's completely pointless other than to give people grief.

Yeah, I'll never understand it either...unless 'these people' are getting paid big bucks?? who knows....why can't they use there talents for something good instead of something so bad.....(well I know theres worse.....but) its such a pain......I'll never understand period........
