50 Years Ago Today! (1)
Fifty years ago today, Fleetwood Mac made their first studio recordings. "I believe my time ain't long" (nothing more than Elmore James' "Dust my broom") and "Rambling pony" (loosely based on "Rollin' and tumblin'") were released as their first single.
My favourite from that session, "Long grey mare", was released on their first lp. Bob Brunning plays the bass; John McVie joined the band later that month. |
