This s probably the most likely scenario. And, as a result, this incarnation of the band will probably give us new music.

But no one buys new music. That’s what Stevie said.

The last few years if the tambourine b/witch says something , you know she’s talking out of her as*. If they make New music after all the time Stevie said it’s not worth it, she just looks like the freaking liar that she is.

I don't think you need today's happenings to prove that. Stevie's last 2 solo albums, In Your Dreams and 24k Gold were recorded and she loved to promote the songs on tour. I saw her 24k Gold tour and she LOVED talking, singing, and promoting all the new songs.
I don't think anyone believed Stevie when she gave the reason not to record with Fleetwood Mac. It was a lame excuse. I expect the band to perform at least 2 new songs on the tour just to try and convince everyone they are a real band.

What I noticed is that tickets on what used to be Lindsey's side are extremely "cheap" in comparison to Christine's or Stevie's side. For example, row 5 at The Garden on Lindsey's side is $800, whereas on Christine's side is $1800 and Stevie's side is $2000.

So even if they end up selling all tickets, they're already facing some financial losses.

Up to $2000 a ticket for fifth row?? That's perverse. I thought the AUD 200 or so I paid for front row tix in 2004 was a lot... Seems like I timed my fandom well.

Yeah, those are scalpers' prices. Vivid Seats is a scalpers' site. Prices are pretty much the same as The Classics last year. I don't see much difference as when Lindsey was in the band. Maybe on TM but not on these kind of sites.

Methinks those scalpers are going to be long a lot of inventory

But how will they give us new music? Christine is the only one left who can write a decent hook, but in the last 40 years, she has done her best work within FM, which means together with Lindsey. Stevie has raided her vaults, she can't write anything even decent for deades now. Who will produce her songs, Dave Stewart? I have no idea about Neil Finn, but his strongest output is older, too. Mike Campbell, okay, he is a producer and writes songs. Too bad that TPATHB have always bored me to tears. Idon't see an album emerging from this mashup of people - there is no frame, talent, drive, energy and no urgency to make an album happen.

Finally, someone said it. TPATHB bore me to tears, too. I usually like one song per album in the old days. But, it's so generic to me.

Yeah, TPATHB made very high quality but utterly generic music. Everything they released almost seemed to be crafted by a corporate committee. I guess this explains my always complex feelings about Bella Donna, too. The music quality song for song arguably beats any other Stevie solo album. Yet the album is largely cold and lifeless to me. Other of her albums like Rock A Little and OSOTM might be white hot messes, but they at least had some real personality to them.

Regarding Dave Stewart producing Stevie’s songs in a supposed new FM album- not going to happen. She’s reportedly had a falling out with him and tossed him aside. Par for her course, Lindsey is the only one who has produced more than 2 albums with her.

Had not heard that.....she's running out of people that can/will work with her. I wonder how Sharon and Lori's production skills are....maybe they can step in?

I hope the creative energies will flow now that the source of trouble for the band is gone and new strong talents are in. Or maybe you are right that without Lindsey they are a laughable decrepit bunch of talentless has-beens.
