Default No Goodbye Baby in Lubbock?

Someone from another list I'm on posted a review saying Stevie did not sing Goodbye Baby at the Lubbock show nor was anyone allowed to approach the stage.

So I suppose Reno really may have ruined it for everyone else. Jake and D~~~they did sing it in El Psso, right?? This is sucky. I love that song and it's just so beautiful...i'd hate to not be able to hear her sing it again. Perhaps she just decided that it's too emotional for her to do anymore???? I dunno. This bites though.

In a recent Fan Club e-mail, the author said that the band leaves immediately after some shows and hurries to get to the plane so the plane can take off before the curfew for outbound flights, which apparently sometime between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. depending on the city if I remember correctly. So, maybe the band did not have time to sing the song. Let's hope that is the case at least!!!!!! If they cut it, I will be so bummed out.

There is a curfew for outbound flights? Since when, or does it depend on the city?

If I'd have written a song on "Rumours"? How about "You want a what?", or "We should have had a Pre-Nup". (John McVie)

Default anyone out there.... ?

If you are reading this and went to the Lubbock show and can give us any details about what happened, that would be awesome....

Does this mean no one was allowed to play Lindsey's guitar either? I will be really upset if this (no GB and barricades at the front row) is the "norm" from now on

PS. Marissa-- I love your new avatar.... I made one of those from that picture too but I'm using my Chris/John one for now

I was there. Yeah, I made my mom sit down with me until half of the people had left. You could tell there were a few of us who were waiting for GB. I guess the fact that they chose to sell the tourbooks made up for it a bit. That, and I heard a fight did break out somewhere during the concert. But the band didn't know about it. One almost broke out between the guy in front of the people besides us and this guy to my left. Thank God my mom decided to be a "peacekeeper" and stopped it before it got out of hand. Because I wasn't going to let them ruin "Silver Springs" for me.

No one was allowed up front...that's why. But some people where allowed to play Lindsey's guitar.

The real highlight was when Lindsey chased Stevie around stage during Tusk.

Thanks for your update, Jason! I'm glad that you and your Mom had a good time! And GO MOM for stopping the fight!

I can't wait to see "Tusk" again-- when I saw them in Greenville, he was still just like "tusking" her and John or whatever, no chasing. That is going to be hilarious.

Thanks again!

xx Meredith
