she's just -- not very memorable either. i mean, sure, her performance was more memorable than a few others tonight but on the whole? meh.

I totally agree. I also liked how Simon said that the other 23 contestants should pack their bags after he heard Lakisha sing. She and a couple of the other girls are the only powerful singers in the competition.
