No, no! It IS a great song. But it's also been played to death by the radio, unfortunately. I still like it though. (Probably because I don't listen to the radio much). Actually, I have that entire album and it's got quite a few other really wonderful songs on it.

Oh I agree, that is a good song. I even like a lot of Katy Perry's songs, I admit it! But, in terms of longevity and just I don't know...potential for classic status? Most of the songs Stevie seems to mention will not hold up in the long run imho.

Like WildHearted said, it's just that the mainstream radio stations play what seem like the same five songs over and over. Makes you begin to believe that there are only a handful of artists out there.

I actually discovered the song before it was released in the US or made an appearance on Glee, but it was in a Bright Light Bright Light remix version. For me, that version is still definitive.

Here it is! https://soundcloud.com/brightlightx2...i-used-to-know

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
