Default The Rhiannon film is finally happpening?

According to this interview with Mike Campbell, he mentions that he'd like to do an album instead of only live shows, but that won't happen until Stevie finishes her Rhiannon film. Something must be happening with Stevie & that film...maybe?!

That was his subtle way of saying there won’t be a new Fleetwood Mac album.

Yes, I felt that was sarcasm.

If that's the case, it's actually kind of funny. I guess I just didn't suspect it coming from him!

The Rhiannon film? Directed by Christopher Guest, maybe — a mockumentary about a wealthy superstar who keeps bringing up an idea for a movie based on her song, despite the fact that she is no closer to seeing it realized than she was forty years ago, thus making her the Edward Casaubon of pop.

Not sure who Edward Casaubon is. Is he a character in a Jane Austen novel?

But there is a Family Guy joke. (running joke) Where Brian keeps talking about writing his novel. After a while, Stewie keeps asking him how his book is coming along. And each time he asks, his voice goes up an octave or so.

If by any insane reality Stevie manages to kick out a Rhiannon movie in the next year and a half, my guess is it will end up being a 15 minute video containing outdated graphics we'll laugh at. But at least we'll get the music we have waited forever and a day for. Hopefully she'll give us the originals from the 1970's.

Listen, Sleazy Nicks has been talking about this thing for at least 41 years. I'd figure at her age she'd have forgotten about it by now.

Maybe goats remember where they left a tin can 41 years ago? Or however long goats live....

Edward Casaubon is a main character in Middlemarch by George Eliot.
He marries Dorothea just for her to be his assistant.

Oh well I think I got the time period correct. The name sounds 1800's.

What music? Is there any (wanted) no released material? More than the included in the 5784 deluxe and expanded editions Mick released?
