Bill Drummond and Peter Green
Found a funny story about Bill Drummond from KLF meeting Peter Green.
KLF was a very popular drum 'n bass/techno band in the early 90's if anyone remembers them. Anyway, the story was like this: Bill is sitting on a plane in 1998 and when he turns around he sees Peter and gets speechless as he is a major fan: "thirty years of life evaporate, and I’m in the presence of God". As a pop star, Bill thinks that "The whole concept of the autograph was a despicable, elitism-promoting ting". Anyway, he has to ask for one..Then he has to come up with an intelligent question, and comes up with: "I bet you’ve never been asked, how many spots does the leopard have on the cover of End of the Game?" Peter Green mutters: "The cover had nothing to do with me". Drummond is mortified... /dino |
