any Ledgies see "The Dance" filmed?
I think this topic was discussed years back but I can't remember for sure. Did anyone here actually attend the Burbank taping of "The Dance" back in 1997? What I wouldn't give to have been there! Describe your memories of it.

Alas - it wasn't for lack of trying. I got on the WB lot, but security was uber tight, and I didn't want to cause a scene and get tossed out on my keister.

Kind of odd actually, I've never spoken to anyone who has been to this concert...surely someone is out there??

Well when you see the audience in the dance video absolutely no one seems to be enjoying themselves the way one of us would. I assume that you had to "know someone" which explains why there aren't any big fans in the audience. Because, is it just me, or do they not seem too excited?

yeah it seems like all the real fans, if there were any, are in the back rows. The one chick who gets on my nerves is the woman who bobs her head back and forth during the beginning of Tusk. You can see her hair swaying back and forth. It shows her several times in the video. I want to smack her. Then there's the blonde headed dufus dancing between two chicks during Dont Stop. Dweeb.

I didn't even know who or what a Fleetwood Mac was!
But man, I would kill to have seen that performance. Especially Silver Springs, just to experience that, wow.

I didn't attend the taping but one of my friends did- and believe me he so deserved to be there since he is as big a fan as I am :-) He can be seen several times in the audience and he is the first one going "woooh!" when The Chain starts!
From what I understood it was mainly "industry" that was there at the taping... Rick

I remember there being two or three members of the USC marching band at the time who posted over on the AMFM newsgroup.

I remember a ledgie...
I remember a ledgie back those days he posted he was there. Or maybe a ledgie told about somebody.. but the description included that they ask him not to scream or jump since it was going to be taped (for sound fidelity).
And I recall he said that he couldn't remember that scream from the audience during Chris saying "from the Tango in the Night album... called Everywhere". It looked as if it was included later during the remastering. |

Is Courtney Love in the audience? Not that she's a Ledgie, but it looks like her in a few shots, back when she was more "cleaned up."
