. . . . But wasn't that an "anti-seven wonders board!?"

I think that was probably THE single-most stupifying comment that was made - out of a long, long chain of them.

I'm still mostly partial to "This is not a game" though. That had to have set some kind of a record.

I was one of the original "banned" Wonderites mainly because I accepted an invite from a friend to join her site, TJ. It wasn't so much an anti-7W site as it was a place to vent out frustrations about what was going on over on 7W at the time. The whole stupid "feud" became so much more than it should have. From what I know, ppl from TJ are now back over on 7W but I really don't go onto either site anymore so I'm out of the loop.

That and I think too there was some bad blood between certain cliques on 7W and some felt they were being treated unfairly and so forth and so on. Like I said, it got way out of hand.

It had to do with money also. People that would send very large contributions to the site were basically given a free pass to do as they pleased and violations were overlooked. The root of all evil. The same root makes me feel that the 7W site will come back up but will be followed by a very heartfelt sad story about what all it cost to get it up and the basket will be passed around again.

hey pip...just wanted to let u know there's more than u that weren't allowed back after being banned so u can relax on that point...i believe there's server probs and if it takes more money to get it back up and running so be it...there is a cost to pay for most music and images u get anyway so i don't mind...now if they're asking for more than $20 i may rethink my position but i felt good donating the $12.95 and that was b4 i knew u couldn't see the images or trades forum which bcame in effect after jan 1st...i don't think it was fair to exclude ppl from seeing these forums but i understand the need for $s...take care...pat

No, more like $125 and $200. Larger contributions = special treatment.

EDIT: We are talking under the old ownership. Just FYI.

Don't get me started. That place is the biggest joke of all time.

When The Administration started charging people for access to certain folders I already brought up the fact that if you can't cover the dough, you shouldn't have bought it in the first place. Then why did he, you ask? Oh, that's right, to become the almighty powerful one. That's what they all love.

Now, as ruler of a dwindling kingdom, he has to force his gullible minions to pay taxes to keep the place afloat.

I don't think he bought it. If I understood correctly it was given to him. I think The Wizard was kind of fond of the new owner and offered to give him the site. Kind of a I'll scratch your back, since you scratched mine.

No, it's a different owner now, so things have gotten much nicer and better. i.m.o., of course.
